Bill Rudock & Gen Benjamin partners in First Light Photography are award winning photographers with over 60 years combined photographic experience. They share a love and passion for photography, traveling and nature and wildlife. Their many years of experience, their knowledge and their reputation coupled with their sense of humor and easy style of instruction have made them sought after speakers, lecturers and workshop instructors. Their programs emphasize the importance of knowing, understanding and applying the rules of photography in order to create the art of photography.
Bill the founder of First Light Photography earned his Masters' & Craftsman degrees from Professional Photographers Of America. He has been honored with the coveted "court of honor" three times and his images appear in National Loan Collection. Kodak has awarded Bill their award of excellence twice and displayed his images at Epcot exhibit in Disney World.
Gen Benjamin has been a self employed photographer & studio owner for over 30 years, she attended Winona School of Professional Photography, was past president of Suffolk Professional Photographers and was awarded the Presidents' award twice. Gen’s images have received numerous awards and have been used in several publications.
